Guatemala November 2022: Day 5

Day 5 in Guatemala

On our 5th day of our outreach trip, we drove for two hours in the beautiful Guatemalan mountains to get to Monte Los Olives village, another K’iche populated village. As soon as we arrived there were people already lined up to be looked at by our team. At one point during the day, 3 kids arrived with their aunt, who was 5 months pregnant, after walking for an hour and a half as their mom was not able to come. Villagers in the Guatemalan villages take care of their fellow villagers’ kids whether they are family or neighbours.
