Guatemala March 2023: Toronto Delays

Travel Day Delays

After delays in Toronto due to maintenance issues and then snow the team made it to Miami only to have missed their connecting flight. After rebooking to a later flight, they landed in Honduras but the border would be closed before we could get there. The team ended up spending the night in Honduras before finishing their travel to Guatemala today. The team still had the time and energy to go for a jungle hike with a couple of suspension bridges before getting everything ready for the clinic tomorrow. With their sense of humor intact through all their travel struggles, this team showed how flexible and resilient community healthcare workers truly are.
