Guatemala March 2023: Final Day

Our Final Clinic Day

We went to Punta de Cayman where we saw over 100 people. A couple of team members went to deliver a wheelchair, cane and eyeglasses while the rest saw patients at the outdoor clinic. We saw more diabetics and people with high blood pressure. Lots of laughs were had as the team blew bubbles and joked around with the Guatemalans. We finally got a group picture including our translators. Lunch was fish served by the local pastor's wife and members of the Cocode. Saturday, we did the long trek back to Canada leaving behind the warmth, sunshine and new-found friends.
