Guatemala April 2022: Day 6

Day 6 of the Clinic

Our last and VERY successful day providing care. We visited Sumach, a small village close by to where we were staying. We saw over 350 people; gave out a wheelchair, 2 canes and majority of our remaining vitamins. This village was a bit challenging as the villagers spoke K'chie (nothing close to Spanish). Unfortunately, majority of the people also had infections, which we were able to treat. We ended off the week with a shrimp boil for dinner. This was definitely a trip none of us will forget.
